Background: Humanity First is an international charitable trust established in 43 countries to promote and safeguard human life and dignity. It is a non-political, non-sectarian international relief and development agency that works with the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people.

Description: The Gift of Sight project provides free treatment to eye patients across the country. For 8,000 Pakistani Rupees, Humanity First Pakistan provides free cataract surgery to one patient. This includes the cost of medical camp, surgical camp, and the price of the lens. They also provide free accommodation and food, as well as free transportation to all patients and their attendants.

Assessment: For a nominal sum of money, Humanity First Pakistan is providing the gift of sight to thousands of the world's poorest.
