Gifts of Marketable Securities

You may make gifts using publicly traded securities which have appreciated in value. You will be able to claim a charitable deduction for the full market value of the securities on the date the gift is made.

It is important that you or your broker notify The Thomas Foundation of your gift and that your broker reference your name in the DTC transfer instructions.
